Nicknamed "Little Lee," Wisely is relatively new to the sport and has only been training MMA for around 5 years. He began training when one of his friends persuaded him to try it out, feeling that Wisley would be successful.
Wisley did not attend college and works in construction and other various side jobs

Wisely prefers to stay on his feet. He is a very good all around striker, showing a diverse style of both kicks and punches. He also uses his elbows effectively, cutting his opponents open on many occasions.A former 161-pound fighter, Wisley has more strength than most Featherweights and a rare ability to knockout his opponents. He is a fighter that gets stronger as the fight goes on. He has great cardio to compete with the Featherweights and his strikes never lose momentum.
Coming from a wrestling base, Wisely is very aware of what hes doing on the ground. When ontop, he displays powerful ground and pound, but will sometimes lose position trying to enforce power from dominant positions. He has trouble keeping opponents down, and often elects not to advance his position
Over the years, he has improved his submission game greatly. He has stated that his favorite submissions are the head and arm lock and the knee bar. He isn't afraid to pull guard if he has a submission lock in the making.
Wisely does not have good takedown defense. He leaves his legs out on kicks and gets taken down fairly easy. He is often taken down, and dominate wrestlers tend to beat him (hence his numerous loses via decision). He is comfortable on the ground, but his patience when on bottom proves a problem when the fight goes to decision.
Wisely is very active off his back, throwing constant strikes and repedidily throws out submission attempts and transitions. Fighters have trouble getting any clean strikes in. Wisley is rarely in full guard, using all his limbs to distance his opponents and protect himself.
He tries to stay away from the cage game and when hes against it, his main goal is to separate.

Charles Oliveira
UFC on Fox: Evans vs. Davis
January 28, 2012
Wisely faced a very tough up and coming fighter. Early in the fight he throws a kick that is caught by Oliveira and Wisley falls to the ground. The two wrangle until Wisley is forced to maneuver out of several leg locks, which he does very nicely. On his last escape, He is grabbed and Oliveira takes his back. With one of Wisley's legs still trapped, Oliveira begins squeezing Wisely, putting imense and pressure on Wisely's knee/calf. Pain is detected on Wisely's face and he is forced to tap
Wisely loses via Submission (calf slicer) 1:43 into round 1
